As the conference begins to take shape, it is exciting to see the range of expertise being brought to bear on the subject of art and the archaeological imagination through the range of speakers who have agreed to come.
The afternoon sessions will include the option to investigate Pen Dinas, the Iron Age fort which overlooks Aberystwyth town. On Wednesday 1.45pm, John Dollery (RCAHMW) will be taking a group out to the site, transport provided. This is free and can be booked on the registration form. On Thursday, the Search Room of the RCAHMW will be open to display maps, field notes, drawings, images and other material related to the archaeological work undertaken on the site. This is free and transport will be provided
